When I first login in my google adsence, and see the report, some terms I do not understand, like RPM,CTR,eCPM.. so here I try to define these term. This help you understand your google adsence report .
So here are brief introduction of each term in your google adsence report.
RPM: Ad request revenue per thousand impressions (RPM) is calculated by dividing your earning by the number of ad requests you made, them multiply by 1000. For example, if you earned an estimated $50 form 12000 ad requests, your ad request RPM would be ($50/12000)*1000 or $4.167.
CTR: the ad request click through rate (CTR) is the number of ads clicks divided by the number of ad request. For example if you received 10 clicks out of 1000 ad request, your CTR would be 1%.
eCPM : Effective Cost per thousand impression is the number of page impression in thousands calculated by dividing earning by the number of impression, then multiply by 1000.
CPC : Cost per Click is the amount an advertiser pays each time a user click his or her ad.
Page view: A page view Is what google counts in your report every time a user views a page display google adsence ad. They count one page view regardless of the number of ads display on that page.
Ad Impression: An ad impression is reported whenever an individual ad is display on your blog/website
