The Media and Entertainment Business Conclave 2011 was launched today
at Le Royal Meridien, Chennai. It is a two day meet and will provide a
platform for those in the film industry, media, communications, and
broadcasting industries. Kamal Haasan is the chairman of the event which
has been arranged by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and
Industry (FICCI).
The Governor of Tamil Nadu inaugurated the event and Trisha lit the
ceremonial lamp. The actress was full of praise for Kamal Haasan and
said that the industry could do with more people like him who are so
passionate about films. On a more entertaining note, it was announced
that Kamal Haasan will be performing in a drama with Ramesh Aravind and
Crazy Mohan to be directed by K Balachander.
