SATYAMEVA JAYATE, a Telugu remake of KHAKEE, has turned out to be a success at the box office. Released on the Friday gone by, the film was much in news since over the last one month due to treatment meted out to Bollywood import Neetu Chandra by the makers of the film.

However, all of that seems to have been left behind as an ugly chapter in the making of the film since not just the film has managed to woo the audience, even Neetu Chandra has found appreciation coming her way.

Says a trade follower from Hyderabad, ''The film is all set to be a good earner since its theme and execution have kept the masses happy. Even though the film has its base in KHAKEE, there are some minor tweaks done here and there to appeal to the South audience. There are a couple of leading ladies but Neetu has found special mention for her action and dance sequences.''

In the film, Neetu has played the role of a junior police officer that Tusshar Kapoor had played in KHAKEE.

''I am told that the film is already a hit'', says Neetu Chandra who is also aware about the compliments that are coming her way, ''I am currently in Mumbai but I am glued on to the box office outcome of the film. It feels good when someone comments that I am the highlight of the film.''

In the film, Neetu has done some heavy duty action sequences that required dare devil stunts. Moreover, she also enjoyed her dance numbers in the film.

So are the problems with the makers of the film a thing from the past?

Though Neetu refuses to comment on the issue, a friend close to her replies, ''Yes, there were problems between the producer and director of the film with Neetu but now since the film has become a success, let bygones be bygones. Neetu is just plain and simple happy that her hard work and sincerity has paid off.''

On the Bollywood front, Neetu has a lot to look forward to in months to come. On 6th March, her bilingual horror flick 13B is all set for release which stars Madhavan in the leading role.
