Kanchana was a blockbuster hit in south, Director-Choreographer-Actor Lawrence played lead role and directed the movie. Now the latest news is that, Bollywood Baadhshah Shahrukh Khan is going to act in the Bollywood remake of Kanchana.

It is also said that, Lawrence who directed the original, will be directing the remake as well. An official announcement is expected shortly.

The remake rights of the film were acquired by Sahara One Motion Pictures. Sanjay Dutt is going to play the role of Sarath Kumar in this film. Kanchana is a 2011 Tamil comedy horror film directed, written and produced by Raghava Lawrence as a sequel to his previous venture,
